How it tests

Asks to unplug the charger, then plug it back; watches the adapter's online flag and the battery status (up to 20 s to follow).

How it decides

Supported: adapter off and on, battery discharging while unplugged and charging (or full, or “not charging” at 90 %+) after. Partial: one side didn't follow. Failed: the tester says nothing changed.

How sure it is

Both sides are kernel facts, and full batteries are handled.
